Pre Wash

We begin with a full pre wash to remove loose dirt and soiling from the paintwork before any physical contact is made, protecting the surface from the start.

Step 02

Wheels & Tyres

Wheels are cleaned with dedicated wheel cleaner and brushes. Tyres are dressed to give a clean, finished appearance that complements the polished paintwork.

Step 03

Two Bucket Safe Wash

The full vehicle is hand washed using the two bucket method with soft mitts, then dried carefully with microfibre towels to leave a clean, dry surface ready for correction.

Step 04

Chemical Decontamination

Iron fallout remover and tar remover are applied to dissolve embedded contamination from the paint. This step is essential before polishing to ensure a clean, pure surface.

Step 05

Paint Inspection

We inspect the paint under detailing lights to assess the level of defects and determine the correct compounds, polishes and pads needed to achieve the best result safely.

How long does machine polishing take?

Most machine polish jobs take between 2 and 4 hours depending on vehicle size, paint condition and the level of correction required. We will give you an accurate estimate after assessing your vehicle.

Will it remove all scratches?

Machine polishing removes swirl marks, light scratches and surface oxidation. Deeper scratches that have broken through the clear coat or into the base coat cannot be removed by polishing alone and may require touch up paint or a body shop. We will always be honest with you about what is achievable before we start.

Is machine polishing safe for my paint?

Yes, when carried out correctly by an experienced detailer using the right products and equipment it is completely safe. We always check paint thickness before we begin and work carefully to ensure only the necessary amount of paint is removed.

Should I get a ceramic coating after?
