Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Mearns Detailers. By booking our services, you agree to the following terms. These terms are designed to keep everything clear and fair for both parties.
1) Bookings & Access
- Appointments are confirmed once we have agreed a date/time via phone, WhatsApp, or email.
- Customer must provide safe access to the vehicle and adequate space for us to work.
- Please remove personal items from the vehicle before we arrive.
2) Cancellations & Rescheduling
- We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
- Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee.
- We reserve the right to reschedule due to severe weather or safety concerns.
3) Condition of Vehicle
- Heavily soiled vehicles (pet hair, mould, sand, excessive tar) may require additional time and charges.
- We will always seek your approval before carrying out work that alters the quoted price.
4) Liability & Limits
- We carry out services with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for pre-existing defects or damage.
- Any claim must be reported within 24 hours of service with photos where possible.
5) Payments
- Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept cash and common electronic payment methods.
6) Photos & Marketing
- We may take before/after photos for records and marketing. Let us know in advance if you’d prefer we didn’t.
7) Warranties
- Sealant/coating durability depends on maintenance, usage and storage. We’ll provide aftercare guidance.
